About this app

FilePilot is a privacy-first FTP, FTPS, and SFTP client for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Connect to the servers you already run—shared hosting, VPS, NAS, or home lab—and move files with clear progress, speed, and ETA. No FilePilot account. No FilePilot cloud. Your credentials never leave your device.
YOUR SERVERS. YOUR FILES. ANYWHERE.

  • FTP, FTPS (implicit & explicit), and SFTP
  • Browse server folders, upload, download, rename, move, and delete
  • Live transfer queue with byte progress, speed, ETA, pause, resume, and retry
  • Stay connected to multiple servers at once (mobile)
  • SSH host keys are verified—you are never silently trusted on a changed fingerprint
  • Passwords stored in the iOS/macOS secure keychain
  • Optional App Lock with PIN plus Face ID or Touch ID

BUILT FOR REAL WORK
Whether you publish a website, manage a WordPress install, pull logs from a VPS, or sync files to a home server, FilePilot keeps the workflow simple: Servers → Files → Transfers. Drag and drop on Mac. Pick photos, documents, or folders on iPhone and iPad.
TOOLS WITHOUT THE CLOUD
Local utilities run on your device only—nothing is relayed through FilePilot servers:

  • Connection diagnostics
  • LAN folder share (password-protected, on your Wi‑Fi)
  • Zip / unzip, checksums, duplicate finder, empty-folder scan
  • Remote/local compare preview

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
FilePilot does not require sign-in, does not show ads, and does not upload your files to us. Transfers happen directly between your device and the servers you configure. See our privacy policy for details.
One-time purchase. Yours to keep.
